A Coherent Integration Method for High-speed Targets under low SNR Conditions in Distributed Coherent Aperture Radar

摘要

To realize the coherent integration for high-speed targets under the low signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) condition, an integration method based on Generalized Radon-Fourier Transform (GRFT) is proposed in this paper. Firstly, an accurate echo model for high-speed targets in distributed coherent aperture radar (DCAR) is established, which considers intra-Doppler modulation caused by high-speed motion. Secondly, a coherent integration method performed by GRFT is analyzed, where the compensation terms for high-speed targets are constructed. By GRFT, the target energy distributed in multi-frames can be integrated, which improves SNR to obtain coherent parameters (CPs) estimation under low SNR conditions. Finally, simulation examples are given to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.
