Quadrature phase-coded signal model and signal processing method for frequency diverse array radar

摘要

Frequency diverse array (FDA) radar can generate a three-dimensional time-range-angle correlation beam pattern. To address signal processing challenges in FDA radar systems, this paper constructs an array structure consisting of an FDA transmitter and a phased array receiver, while also establishing a signal model based on quadrature phase-coded signal. This paper presents the derivation of a signal model for point target echoes. Employing orthogonal matched filtering on the received signal for range dimensional echo separation, the echo signal is weighted in both the range and angle dimensions, enabling concurrent separation of sources situated at varying distances and angles. Simulations confirm the effectiveness of the proposed signal processing method.
